Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar storage that UK Trailer Market uses. It is draft website content, not legal advice.
About cookies and local storage
Cookies are small files stored on your device. UK Trailer Market also uses local storage in your browser to remember some settings. These help the marketplace work and stay secure.
Necessary storage
This storage is needed for the marketplace to function and cannot be turned off without affecting how UK Trailer Market works. It covers:
- Authentication and security — recognising you when you are signed in and keeping your session secure.
- Core functionality — remembering basic information needed to display listings and messages.
Preferences and saved items
We use local storage to remember choices you make on the marketplace, such as filters or search settings, and to keep track of listings you have saved. This storage stays on your device and is not shared with third parties for advertising.
Cookies we do not use
UK Trailer Market does not use advertising cookies and does not allow third-party advertising or cross-site tracking networks to track you through the marketplace.
Managing cookies
You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings at any time. Note that removing necessary storage will sign you out and may reset some of your preferences.
